Fairmont Heights High School
Total
Descriptions

From foundation work for academic buildings and offices, to the athletic fields and facilities, Total Civil Construction completed the transformation of the site to a best-in-class public school campus. Total Civil Construction company leaders establish relationships with community groups and local officials to clearly manage expectations and ensure that our company takes appropriate measures to mitigate any issues and address concerns for residents and property-owners in the vicinity of our projects. When blizzard conditions hit the DC Metro area, our experienced project management and labor teams worked to adjust excavation sequencing and to re-prioritized tasks to meet timelines. To prevent run-off and localized flooding from restructured earthwork, the project selected Rotondo's StormPod® precast system. As the largest installation of this type in the DC Metropolitan Area, Total Civil Construction had the talent, the technology, and dedicated crew to plan, set-up, and execute. The Fairmont Heights HS project is an accomplishment - for the company and for the community. This project earned Total Civil Construction a nomination for the 2018 WBC (Washington Building Congress) Craftsmanship Award.
